The Municipality of Hastings Highlands has nine (9) Waste Disposal/Transfer Sites located throughout the Municipality for the disposal of your waste and recycling.

- Papineau Lake – 113 Papineau Lake Road South, Maple Leaf, ON

- East Lake – 59 Cardwell Lake Road, Maple Leaf, ON

Hazardous and Special Products Events 2025
Each year the Municipality offers two Household Hazardous and Special Products Events where residents can bring in items to be recycled. For a listing of items collected at these events, please follow the link provided.
This years events are being held on Saturday July 12, 2025 from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm and Saturday October 18, 2025 from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.
