Waste Site Locations and Hours

The Municipality of Hastings Highlands has nine (9) Waste Disposal/Transfer Sites located throughout the Municipality for the disposal of your waste and recycling.

• Sand Bay – 16 Runnalls Lane, Combermere, ON

• Wolf Creek – 567 River’s Road, Barry’s Bay, ON

• Papineau Lake – 113 Papineau Lake Road South, Maple Leaf, ON

• Musclow-Greenview – 3375 Musclow-Greenview Road, Harcourt, ON

• East Lake – 59 Cardwell Lake Road, Maple Leaf, ON

• Lake St. Peter – 2825 Hwy 127, Lake St. Peter, ON

• North Baptiste – 353 N Baptiste Lake Rd. ON

• Hickey Road East – 202 Hickey Rd. East, Harcourt, ON

• South Baptiste – 2539 S Baptiste Lake Rd. Highland Grove, ON

* Changes for industrial, commercial, and institutional (IC&I) recycling *

IC&I properties in Hastings Highlands include:

• All private sector businesses

• Not-for-profit organizations

IC&I recycling is accepted at (3) three sites: South Baptiste, East Lake, and Hickey Road. Separate bins will be available for disposal of IC&I recyclable materials. Materials must be sorted based on the information found here: How to Sort Your Waste & Recycling

As a result of the Significant Freezing Rain event Warning for Hastings Highlands and area, All Waste Sites will be CLOSED on Wednesday March 11, 2026.

Waste Sites will return to their regular operating hours once the weather event has ended.
