Upcoming Projects and Road Work in 2026
PLEASE BE ADVISED: Road Construction and Resurfacing is underway starting June 8 2026, on:
Graphite Road - Between Moxam Rd and Best Rd
Old Hastings Road - Between the Hwy 62 & Hwy 127 intersection to Old Hastings Rd & Hwy 62 intersection
Old Welsh Road - Between Musclow-Greenview Rd & East Road Loop
New Carlow Road - Between East Road Loop to HH Municipal Boundary
East Road Loop - Between New Carlow Rd & Old Welsh Rd
Construction along these roadways is expected to continue until end of July.
Motorists should expect traffic delays, with signage in place along the roadway during active construction periods throughout the coming weeks. Motorists must adhere to all posted signage.
Regular updates will be provided to the public as information is received from crews in the field.
PLEASE BE ADVISED: Rolling road closures will happen on River Rd, from Golfers Lane to the Municipal Boundary, starting June 9 2026 until June 30, 2026 from 7:00a - 4:00p daily while Municipal crews work to prepare for upcoming resurfacing.
Traffic control signs will be posted, and motorists must adhere to all posted signage. Motorists should expect traffic delays, and are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly during the work period.

Boulter Road Bridge Closure – Fall 2025
Project Overview
The Municipality of Hastings Highlands announces the planned closure of the Boulter Road Bridge in the fall of 2025. Located 500 meters south of the intersection with Municipal Road 62, traffic will be redirected via the existing sideroad Old Highway 62, increasing the travel distance by only 2.1 km to Highway 62.
