All Municipal Elections in Ontario are governed by the Ontario Municipal Elections Act.

The Municipal Clerk's Municipal Elections Procedures Manual outlines the specifics in the Hastings Highlands Municipal Election not specified in the Municipal Elections Act.

The Regulate Elections Signs Bylaw for Hastings Highlands regulates the placement of Election Signs on public and private property in HH.

Hastings Highlands Use of Corporate Resources for Election Policy instructs municipal staff, Candidates, and existing Members of Council as to their conduct and use of corporate resources during the election.

The Election Recount Policy guides the Returning Officer in the event of a close vote.
