Site Plan Control

What is Site Plan Control?

Site Plan Control is a tool that the Municipality uses for site-specific control for development of a property.

Site Plan Control will consider such elements as walkways, parking spots, landscaping, and drainage.

To find out more, you can go to the Province of Ontario's webpage on Site Plan Control.

What is the process for Site Plan Control?

Before applying for Site Plan Control, you will need to complete a Pre-Consultation Form and provide the completed Pre-Consultation Form and proposed site plan to the Planning Department for their review.

The Planning Department will provide comments and feedback. This may require that you make revisions or that you are ready to proceed to the Site Plan Control Application.

The Planning Department will provide the Site Plan Control Application once they are satisfied with the site plan, documentation, and information received thus far.
