Entrance Permit and 911 Number

Step 1 - Entrance Permit and 911 Number
Before development can begin, you will need to ensure that you have a driveway entrance located and installed for your property.

You will need to verify you have an Entrance Permit or apply for an Entrance Permit Application.

After you have applied for an Entrance Permit, the Operations Department will ensure the location is safe to see travelling vehicles and will provide specifications on installing/constructing the entrance.

An E-9-1-1 civic address number will be assigned to the property and the number blade installed to ensure emergency services can accurately and efficiently locate your property in the event of an emergency.

You can submit a Customer Service Request for more information on what to include with the Application and the applicable fee.

If you already have an Entrance Permit and E-911 Number finalized and number assigned and installed, you can proceed to "Step 2: Consultation with Planning".
