Public: Please enter through the rear door of the Municipal Office Building. Seating is limited due to safety and accessibility requirements, and is available on a first-come, first-serviced basis. Meeting to be live-streamed for the public on YouTube.
The proposed Bylaws and/or Policies are available for viewing in the Council Agenda:
-Bylaw 2026-024 To Set Borrowing Limits for Current Year Purposes
-Bylaw 2026-025 To Amend Bylaw 2024-088 To Adopt a Policy Delegating Certain
Powers and Duties to Officers and Employees
-Bylaw 2026-026 To Update the Established Rules and Regulations for Cemeteries
Owned, Operated or Managed by The Municipality of Hastings Highlands
-Bylaw 2026-027 To Confirm the Proceedings of Council
Towards the end of the meeting, Council will rise from the open session to go into Closed Session as permitted by the Municipal Act for the purpose of:
-Approval of minutes from the last Closed Session held on February 18, 2026;
Section 239(2) A meeting or part of a meeting may be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered is
(c) a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board;
General Nature: Sale of approved municipal surplus properties
