Outdoor Rinks – Ice Status Report - Feb 19, 2026 

We're back in business! Lake St. Peter and Maynooth Outdoor Rinks remain OPEN for public skating as of Feb 19, 2026.

Birds Creek Outdoor Rink is now OPEN for public skating as well.

Please be advised: Patrons should access Birds Creek Rink through the Zamboni entrance. We ask that people avoid using the ice behind the marked caution tape and pylons to maintain the ice surface for future use.

Thank you everyone for your patience and cooperation!

Residents are reminded that rinks are unsupervised, and the use of CSA approved helmets and other safety equipment is strongly recommended.

Please be advised that the status of the outdoor ice rink is subject to change at any time due to weather and ice conditions. For the most up-to-date and accurate information, please refer to the sign posted directly at the rink.

REMINDER: Please refrain from using the ice when the rinks are posted as CLOSED. Continued disregard of closure signage may result in extended rink closures, eliminating public access.
