Passing of Carlow/Mayo Mayor Randy Wallace

Maynooth, ON – The Municipality of Hastings Highlands extends its sincere condolences following the passing of Mayor Randy Wallace of the Township of Carlow/Mayo.

Flags at the Hastings Highlands Municipal Office have been lowered to half-mast in his honour.

Mayor Wallace served with dedication and a strong commitment to local government. Through his public service, he worked on behalf of his community and contributed to the broader municipal partnership across Hastings County.

“Randy cared about his community and was kind-hearted,” said Hastings Highlands Mayor Tony Fitzgerald. “His passing is a loss for Carlow/Mayo and for Hastings County.”

“We join our municipal colleagues across the County in recognizing Randy’s service and extend our condolences to his family, Council, staff, and community,” added Mayor Fitzgerald.
